Full description of the position

Our Service Department is accepting applications for experienced semi trailer mechanics. We are looking for Technicians with at least 5 years experience in the following repairs, but not limited to.

• ABS diagnostics
• Semi trailer wreck repair
• Pneumatic brake diagnostics/repairs
• Liftgate repairs/installs and diagnostics
• Trailer wiring/light repairs
• Suspension/axle repairs
• Welding
• Hydraulics
• Electrical
• Installing Equipment Our semi trailer mechanics tasks vary from job to job but some may involve the following.
• Lifting/transporting loads by hand of 50lbs or more
• Bending/kneeling/squatting to perform repairs for extended periods of time
• Working off ladders/step stools
• Cutting/grinding and welding (Plasma cutting, MIG & TIG process on steel and aluminum)
• Diagnosis/troubleshoot and execute repair procedures
• Safety gear is provided and required to be used in all processes. Some tools that would be required, are:
• Pneumatic power tools (1/2 & 3/8 impact wrenches, 3/8 drill, air saw, etc.)
• Assorted hand tools (ratchets, wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, measuring tape, etc.)
• Electrical hand tools (pliers, soldering torch, test light, etc.)
• Welding helmet and gloves
• Assorted hammers/pry bars
• Tool cart (has to be mobile) Also required:
• Clean driving record (Preferred)
• Valid drivers license (Preferred)
