Overview

Harwood Consulting is looking for a Counter Sales Representative who is self- motivated, goal oriented, and dedicated to achieving sales goals. The Counter Sales Rep will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner. This position requires a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work well under pressure. The position is Warehouse based in Pinson, Alabama and is a Monday thru Friday first shift position. The owner provides staff with the opportunity to make 10-15 hours overtime per week.

Essential Duties

• Ensuring all orders are received and processed within the required time frame.
• Communicating with customers regarding order status, product availability, and other relevant information.
• Providing excellent customer service by answering any questions or making recommendations based on any given customer's needs.
• Preparing purchase orders and shipping orders as required.
• Providing assistance to the restocking team as needed.
• Maintaining a positive attitude and team work culture while working with all team members to ensure an efficient flow of information throughout the day.
• Performing other duties as assigned by management or Sales Manager. Experience:
• 2 years of experience in a counter sales environment preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of the counter trade preferred but not required.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written) with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, customers, vendors, etc. (ex: phone calls, emails, etc). Job Type: Full-time Pay: $47,500.00 - $56,500.00 per year
