Overview

We are seeking a motivated experienced customer service sales associate with a background in the design industry or retail sales. Must be a self-starting professional who is detail oriented, organized and capable of working in a fast paced environment. Strong communicator with a friendly outgoing personality is necessary. Experience in the fabric/ furniture industry and knowledge of interior design trade resources is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Quoting fabric, wallpaper and trim prices and product details.
• Order entry and monitoring sales to assure orders are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner.
• Responding to customer inquiries regarding order status, returns and tracking.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to effectively communicate with customers.
• Managing vendor communications.
• Assisting customers with selections and researching product needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• Familiarity with B2B software is a plus but not required.
