Responsibilities

:

• Consultation and Site Visits : Meeting with homeowners or business owners to assess their roofing needs. This involves inspecting their roofs, understanding any issues, and providing estimates and solutions.
• Sales Presentations and Proposals : Explaining roofing options, materials, and services to customers, often through a formal proposal or quote.
• Negotiating Contracts : Discussing pricing, terms, and the scope of work. The sales rep might have to adjust proposals or offer special deals to close a sale.
• Closing Sales : Once the customer is ready, the sales rep finalizes the deal, securing the job and ensuring the customer is satisfied with the terms.
• Coordinating with the Installation Team : Ensuring the crew has the correct information about the project, including materials, start date, and scope of work.
• Customer Relationship Management : Maintaining relationships with existing customers, following up on completed jobs, and seeking referrals.
• Monitoring Job Progress : Occasionally checking in on ongoing projects to ensure that everything runs smoothly and according to plan.
• Staying Updated on Industry Trends : Keeping up-to-date on roofing products, technologies, and local regulations so they can offer the best solutions.
• Handling Complaints and Issues : If a customer has concerns after the job is completed, the sales rep may be responsible for addressing those to maintain customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

:

• Sales experience required
• 18 years of age or older
