Stratus is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager in Virgina to generate and develop opportunities in select markets, drive strategic partnerships, and support executive-level business development efforts. This role involves maintaining client relationships, engaging in industry organizations, and assisting with RFQs and presentations. JOB DUTIES

• Generate and develop opportunities in select markets that result in winning work for the company.
• Work with executive level personnel and their teams to develop, implement, and oversee the market driven business development efforts.
• Develop new strategic partnerships and clients.
• Maintain and assist with existing relationships when requested.
• Actively participate in community and industry related organizations.
• Assist in developing responses for RFQs and presentations. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree
• 8-10 years of experience
• AEC experience REQUIRED SKILLS
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe InDesign. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
