The Center Associate is the backbone of the store. The Associate is responsible for delivering world-class customer service to all retail customers. The associate receives and processes packages for shipment, prepares files for printing, assists customers with notary service, and operates point-of-sale devices. The Associate expertly advises our valued customers by providing accurate information on our array of products, services, and best-value options. The Associate exhibits confidence by knowing best practices as related to the industry. The ideal Center Associate candidate will have retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, a professional appearance, and will be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time.

• Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
• Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership
• Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions
• Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends
• Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Maintains a positive demeanor and energy while helping a high volume of customers QUALIFICATIONS
• Prompt, reliable, and responsible
• Saturday availability a must
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
• Able to operate independently and be self-driven to complete tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent English & Spanish speaking is a plus
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Willing and able to work a flexible, part-time schedule that may span Monday through Saturday BENEFITS
