JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Principal Indirect Tax Analyst (Property & Sales/Use) Salary Range: $85,500 - $115,000 (Depending on experience and qualifications) About the Opportunity: We're hiring a Principal Indirect Tax Analyst to join a collaborative, high-performing tax team. • Tax Compliance & Reporting Prepare and review accurate, timely property and sales/use tax filings. Reconcile tax accounts and manage payment processes in compliance with all applicable deadlines.
• Technology & Data-Driven Insights Help advance tax technology capabilities by identifying system enhancements and leveraging data analytics for more efficient and accurate reporting.
• Tax Research & Application Analyze laws, rulings, and guidance to support compliance and transaction taxability decisions. Implement regulatory changes as needed.
• Tax Accounting & Forecasting Support monthly, quarterly, and annual tax accounting and forecasting. Ensure activities align with GAAP, SOX, and internal standards. Recommend and help execute process improvements.
• Audit Management Lead or support audit processes from start to resolution. Collaborate with external auditors and internal stakeholders using a data-informed approach.
• Strategic Initiatives Participate in planning and research initiatives that contribute to long-term tax strategy and operational improvements.

What You Bring

:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, MIS, Data Science, or a related field
• 5-10 years of progressive experience in indirect tax, ideally with exposure to both property and sales/use tax
• Proficiency in tax or ERP systems and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, etc.)
• Strong research, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly
• Advanced credentials (CPA, CMA, CFA, JD, or Master's degree) are valued and may substitute for a portion of experience Why You 'll Love This Role:
