New American Arms is the only full-service gun shop in the Richmond area offering gunsmith services, machining, cerakote, custom builds, training and more. We are a local, family-owned gun shop and are eager to add a new sales associate to our staff! The Online Sales Associate will be responsible for the end-to-end process of selling firearms online, including product photography, listing items on websites, handling packaging and shipment, and maintaining accurate transaction and compliance records.

Key Responsibilities

: Product Photography & Listing

• Capture high-quality, detailed photos of firearms and accessories.
• Write accurate and compelling product descriptions.
• Create and manage listings on online platforms as needed. Sales & Customer Service
• Respond to online inquiries and provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
• Process online sales transactions accurately and in compliance with all federal, state, and local firearm laws. Order Fulfillment & Shipping
• Package sold firearms securely and professionally for shipment.
• Coordinate with FFL dealers to ensure proper firearm transfers.
• Manage all shipping logistics and tracking communications with customers. Record Keeping & Compliance
• Maintain accurate inventory, sales, and shipping records.
• Ensure all transactions comply with ATF regulations and store policies.
• Assist with logging firearms in/out of the A&D (Acquisition and Disposition) book.

Qualifications

:

• Prior experience in e-commerce sales, preferably with firearms or sporting goods.
• Knowledge of firearms, firearm safety, and relevant laws and regulations (FFL knowledge preferred).
• Strong photography and image editing skills.
• Experience with online sales platforms.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in basic office software (Excel, Word) and inventory management systems.
• Ability to pass a background check and legally handle firearms.
