Description: OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB Manages the promotion and direction of sales within an assigned area or territory. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for creating a business plan to increase sales through researching, analyzing, and interpreting records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred for management
• Reviews market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential, and develop sales campaigns
• Predicts future market trends and develops new sales ideas
• Identifies and contacts potential new customers
• Calls on new and existing customers to explain features and merits of products or services offered
• Demonstrates products or services, and provides assistance in the best application of products or services
• Answers all questions concerning a product or service, with appropriate referrals where required
• Closes transactions and takes orders
• Submits time and expense reports to management
• Investigates product or service warranty claims to ensure resolution within organization policies
• Calculates and quotes prices
• Coordinate customers' service needs with other departments as required to ensure customer service
• Attends trade shows, staff booth, and help with set up and break down of booth OTHER DUTIES
• Performs all other duties as required
• Travel to customers as required
• Responsible for providing backup to other Regional Sales Managers as needed

Requirements

: QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience within a sales capacity required KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS
• Identify problems, investigate the root-cause, and make recommendations for solutions VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS
• Use verbal skills to transfer information to large groups and/or influence others WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS
