Full description of the position

Route Sales Representative- This is a full-time position that is responsible for selling and merchandising Salter's Distributing's complete line of products to existing and new accounts while driving a company vehicle. Sales Representative's hours of work vary by assigned route, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Driving to stores on company routes.
• Merchandising store displays to ensure proper inventory, pricing, and rotation.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Selling company's complete line of merchandise to store owners and managers.
• Keeping all company-supplied equipment clean and serviced, including the company vehicle and cell phone.
• Completing all required sales and paperwork.
• Solicitation of new accounts fitting approved Salter's Distributing profile.

Requirements

: This work requires the following physical activities: climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 30 lbs. of product on consistent basis, repetitive motions. The work is performed both indoors and outdoors.

• Prior store sales or merchandising experience preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Clean DMV record and insurability.
• Ability to work independently in various settings.
• Pays $24.00 per hour plus overtime. Expect to make approx. $68,000 /year with this position. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.00 per hour
