We are hiring a National Sales Coordinator specializing in third-party logistics (3PL) with an emphasis on contract warehousing, distribution, and e-commerce fulfillment. The position will be responsible for establishing relationships with new customers, building a rapport with existing clients, and growing revenue. This position is full-time exempt, with a significant component of compensation to be incentive-based. National Sales Coordinator

Responsibilities

:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve aggressive sales goals.
• Generate revenue through prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business.
• Understand customer requirements, procedures, and goals to collaborate with Operations.
• Develop and maintain long-term consultative customer relationships to understand where to offer solutions.
• Maintain regular contact with existing customers to help resolve issues by interfacing between the customer and our operations, generate organic growth and sell our services in other markets.
• Be a logistics and trucking expert. National Sales Coordinator Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Experience selling 3PL services using a variety of pricing models.
• Build trust with customers by ensuring that all of their needs are being met as committed.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to create presentations and speak in front of groups.
• Be driven by results, yet patient to work through the sales process.
• Demonstrate an ability to have a high degree of attention to detail. National Sales Coordinator Preferred Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience performing sales in the logistics, warehousing, or trucking industry.
• Past operational experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is a plus.
• Working understanding of WMS functionality.
• Transportation experience is also helpful.
