Job Summary

: Jack L Marcus is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will engage with customers, assist with product selection, process sales transactions, and help maintain a welcoming and organized store environment. Your ability to provide excellent customer service and drive sales will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities

: Customer Engagement & Sales

• Greet customers warmly and actively engage in conversations to understand their needs.
• Provide personalized product recommendations and offer guidance on merchandise selection.
• Use sales techniques such as suggestive selling and cross-selling to drive sales.
• Promote current sales promotions and special offers to customers. Product Knowledge & Assistance
• Stay informed about product features, benefits, pricing, and store policies.
• Answer customer questions and address concerns professionally and accurately. Cash Handling & Transactions
• Process customer purchases efficiently using the store's point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and gift cards with accuracy.
• Maintain proper cash register procedures and ensure transaction security. Store Operations & Maintenance
• Assist in restocking merchandise, organizing displays, and maintaining a neat store environment.
• Follow store policies and procedures regarding sales, returns, and loss prevention.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet sales goals and ensure a smooth store operation.

Qualifications

& Skills:

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers professionally and clearly explain product details.
• Strong sales and customer service skills with confidence in approaching customers, building rapport, and closing sales.
• Basic math proficiency with the ability to calculate prices, discounts, and change accurately.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales goals.
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

:

• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
