Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers while ensuring smooth operations at the register.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
• Operate the cash register and process transactions efficiently using POS systems.(PassPort & NVR )
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales promotions and product offerings to effectively sell items.
• Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise as needed.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Uphold company policies regarding returns, exchanges, and payment methods.
• Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Skills

• Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for shoppers.
• Sales skills to promote products and encourage purchases.
• Proficiency in operating POS systems for processing transactions smoothly.
• Good phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone when necessary.
• Experience with cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
• Retail sales experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to stock shelves efficiently while maintaining an organized workspace.
