As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Selling residential solar solutions directly to homeowners.
• Recruiting, training, and leading a team of field managers and sales closers.
• Managing sales pipelines, forecasting, and hitting regional sales goals.
• Creating a positive, high-performance culture within your team.
• Working closely with leadership to grow your market territory. This role combines leadership, sales excellence, and strategic recruiting -- and rewards top performers with outstanding earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and onboard top-performing field managers and closers.
• Personally close solar deals while mentoring your team to do the same.
• Train and motivate your team through in-person and virtual meetings.
• Manage your team's daily activities, setting clear expectations and KPIs.
• Represent Direct Solar Co. with integrity, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
• Leverage our CRM tools to track leads, deals, and team performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in direct sales (solar, roofing, home improvement, pest control, or related industries preferred).
• 1+ year of leadership, recruiting, or management experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
• Highly driven, entrepreneurial mindset.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work in-field. What We Offer
