We are looking for a dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Vintage Planet. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our retail environment. Responsibilities

- Ability to use a computer for online cross-listing of vintage clothing items during downtime in the store - Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to understand their needs and preferences. - Utilize your retail sales expertise to recommend products and services that meet customer requirements. - Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately. - Maintain a tidy and organized store appearance to enhance the overall shopping experience. - Assist in restocking merchandise and monitoring inventory levels. - Uphold company standards for customer service excellence at all times. - Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and targets. - Demonstrate proficiency in basic math skills for cash handling and transactions. - Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required. - Strong customer service skills with a focus on enhancing customer satisfaction. - Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register efficiently. - Basic understanding of retail math concepts. - Experience in supervising or leading a team is advantageous. - Proficiency in upselling techniques to drive additional sales.
