Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Manager to oversee daily operations in our retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing inventory, negotiating prices, and ensuring that the shop meets its sales targets while providing a welcoming atmosphere for customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily shop operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
• Oversee inventory management and control, including ordering stock and maintaining accurate records.
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers to optimize cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement retail sales strategies to meet or exceed budgeted sales goals.
• Train, mentor, and supervise staff, fostering a positive work environment.
• Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the shop.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the shopping experience. Skills

• Proficient in using retail management software or point-of-sale systems.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
