Position: Front Desk Sales & Service Representative (Front of House) Status: Full-Time Only Location: On-Site (Woodbury, MN) Starting Pay: $17.00/hour Are you energetic, welcoming, and passionate about providing top-tier customer service? Nova Academy of Cosmetology is seeking a Front Desk Sales & Service Representative to be the face of our school and salon, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for both guests and students.

About the Role

As the first point of contact, you'll play a key role in client satisfaction, student support, and daily operations. From managing appointments and checkout to supporting sales goals and promotions, your work helps drive the energy and culture of the school.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check in/out guests with a positive, professional attitude
• Check out clients using a Point of Sale (POS) system
• Accurately manage service tickets and client flow
• Collaborate with the Salon Floor Instructor on daily sales goals and strategies
• Support students with front desk responsibilities, retail selling, and pre-booking
• Keep the retail area clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Receive, process, and input inventory orders
• Assist with special events, guest promotions, and front-end marketing efforts What We 're Looking For
• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in customer service, salon/spa, retail, or a related environment
• Cosmetology or esthetics industry experience is a plus
• Friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication skills
• Proficiency with computers and POS systems
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work both independently and as part of a team
• Availability for full-time hours , including some evenings and weekends
