Full description of the position

CAI Designs, Inc is seeking a jr. seller/sales assistant for our showroom in Scottsdale, Arizona. The right person will be flexible in order to get the job done with the ability to be a multi tasker and have good administrative and analytical skills to stay focused on results, and is committed to continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be energetic, assertive and polished with a proven track record of building relationships over the phone and in person.

Responsibilities

:

• Learning how to sell our lines to designers.
• Work in the CAI sales system; writing up quotes, orders, applying money to orders, and uploading receipts and all documentation to orders for showroom staff.
• Assist sales team by sitting in on meetings with designers and clients as needed.
• Printing tear sheets
• Help with floor coverage
• Customer interaction assistance with designers and sales staff.
• Help open and close the showroom each day. Turn on lights, fluff pillows, put away sales aids etc.
• Answer phones when needed
• Help organize chairs, food etc. for events.
• Handle vendor supplies (organize and order replacements as needed)
• Keep showroom samples up to date Required:
• To the trade sales experience a plus.
• High attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to organize and manage time effectively under strict timelines within a fast-paced environment
• Excellent phone manner/customer service
• Team-Player
• Knowledgeable of MS Office/computer systems
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive can-do attitude and healthy working relationships with internal employees and external vendors
