Full description of the position

We are seeking a dedicated Door-to-Door Sustainability Sales Associate to join our team for the summer! These positions will be based in Phoenix, AZ and Denver, CO. All travel, transportations and housing expenses will be paid by Recyclops. This is a perfect role for college students that want to make extra income. In this role, you will be responsible for selling recycling services to clients. We know there is no business without the people behind our brand that make it - and our services - a reality. This position requires knocking on doors in targeted neighborhoods and engaging with potential customers at their front doors.

Responsibilities

• Propose recycling subscription plans based on client needs and environmental considerations.
• Engage with clients to provide education on recycling and its environmental impact.
• Generate leads through networking, referrals, and direct sales efforts.
• Negotiate service agreements with clients to enhance business development opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.

Requirements

• Comfortability in walking door-to-door for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours/day).
• Previous experience in door-to-door sales is a plus but not required; this is a temporary summer position. If you do not have any experience, we will train you.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
• Ability to analyze customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
