Job description Smith Fence Company of Fort Myers has been a family-run business in Fort Myers for over 35 years. We are excited to continue expanding the company by providing the best quality in service and materials for commercial and residential fence installations. We need help! Who we're looking for: A DRIVEN, MOTIVATED, GO-GETTER individual to get clients and promote the company. A more detailed job summary: provide accurate estimates for client jobs, draft plans for purchase orders, purchase materials, coordinate with vendors and subcontractors, maintain current knowledge of municipal and county building regulations, and provide direction to fence installers and assistant crews at job sites with regard to workplace safety and efficiency. At this time, we are specifically seeking individuals who have prior experience in the fence industry. This position requires operating a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in product knowledge, technical knowledge, industry and process knowledge in relevant product areas
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the marketplace, competitors and industry trends in order to identify new business and marketing opportunities
• Develop product reference documents and product materials for customers
• Create and maintain a product marketing plan for increasing sales and revenue
• Work with install team leaders to understand, explain and analyze client requirements
• Demonstrate products to consumers and address potential client queries in a timely and professional manner
• Interact with clients and co-workers in a pleasant and professional manner Candidates must be driven, reliable, conscientious, and self-motivated, with strong communication skills and excellent computer skills. Candidates must have desire and ability to work closely with other team members and possess strong attention to detail. A clean driving record is required. This is a full-time position that is compensated with a combination of salary and commission. Commission and benefits to be negotiated commensurate with experience. Previous experience in fence installation and/or sales is required. We look forward to working and growing with you. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
