Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to engage with customers, ensuring they have a positive shopping experience. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for promoting our products, assisting customers with their needs, and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Duties

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately.
• Demonstrate products through engaging product demos to enhance customer understanding and interest.
• Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities and promote additional products.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to effectively assist customers.
• Ensure the sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
• Assist in training new staff members and supervising daily operations when required.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and face-to-face interactions.
• Ability to perform basic retail math calculations accurately.
• Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply as this is a valuable asset in serving our diverse customer base.
• Experience with cash handling and operating point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
