New York City premier real estate owner, manager and developer seeks an experienced Leasing Agent to work on-site at the company's rental office located in Harlem. The Leasing Agent will be responsible for all tasks related to leasing apartments, including, but not limited to: - Answering calls, responding to emails and meeting with walk-ins who are interested in learning more about the property and availability. - Showing available apartments to potential applicants. - Following up on prospects and leads. - Negotiating rents and preparing lease documents. - Preparing reports, assessing market comps, marketing units, doing walk- throughs of new turns. - Providing feedback from prospects to leasing manager and property management team, attending leasing team meetings and assisting with other leasing/property management duties as assigned. The successful candidate will meet the below requirements: - 5 years + experience in residential leasing for manager or owner is required. - Ability to work 5 days a week including either Saturday or Sunday. - Experience with Yardi preferred. - Excellent communication skills. - Energetic and positive demeanor. - Detail-oriented. - Knowledge of Harlem real estate a plus. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $67,000.00 per year
