Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a well- organized store environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for retail sales, with the ability to upsell products effectively. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in locating products.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage stock levels and assist with inventory management.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
• Communicate product features and benefits to customers to facilitate informed purchasing decisions.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Supervise stock replenishment and ensure shelves are well-stocked and organized.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, including displays and promotional materials.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Strong basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Experience with supervising or leading teams is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
• A proactive approach to upselling products and enhancing customer satisfaction.
