Position

Overview

The Sales Engineer plays a vital role in driving business growth by identifying opportunities, delivering impactful product demonstrations, and supporting clients with technical expertise and exceptional service. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong technical acumen and a talent for communicating complex concepts in a way that resonates with customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities from lead generation through contract execution
• Generate leads through cold outreach, referrals, and targeted marketing strategies
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide on-site technical support during trials and installations
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
• Respond to RFIs, RFPs, and other technical inquiries with clarity and precision
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to translate customer feedback into actionable improvements
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records in the Salesforce CRM system
• Proactively address and resolve customer concerns in a timely, professional manner
• Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in capital equipment sales
• Solid background in industrial materials processing technologies
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to conduct technical product demonstrations and oversee installations
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory
• Proficient in CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce
• U.S. citizenship with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with technical equipment is highly desirable ENG01 Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
