Responsibilities

: As our Outside Sales Commercial Business Development Specialist , you will: Identify & Develop Commercial Leads - Generate a pipeline of qualified commercial prospects through networking, outreach, and company-provided leads.

• Conduct In-Person Consultations - Meet with commercial clients on-site to assess their needs, explain Intelligent Design's services, and propose customized solutions.
• Present Comprehensive Service Offerings - Educate clients on the value of our commercial HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and solar services, emphasizing the benefits of our maintenance programs and service plans.
• Negotiate and Close Sales - Guide clients through the decision-making process, addressing any questions or concerns, and securing contracts to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Build and Maintain Business Relationships - Cultivate long-term relationships with commercial clients by providing excellent follow-up, personalized service, and continued support.
• Collaborate with Project and Service Teams - Work closely with our service and installation teams to ensure smooth transitions from sales to project implementation and ongoing maintenance.
• Stay Current on Industry Trends - Regularly update your knowledge of commercial HVAC, plumbing, and electrical advancements, and identify new business opportunities within key industries.
• Maintain Detailed Records - Document all sales activities, client interactions, and project details in ServiceTitan, ensuring organized tracking and reporting.

Required Qualifications

: B2B Sales Experience - Minimum of 3 years in outside sales, specifically in commercial HVAC, plumbing, or a related service industry.

• ServiceTitan Knowledge - Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar CRM/sales management software is a plus.
• Industry Knowledge - Strong understanding of commercial building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and maintenance needs.
• Valid Driver 's License - Required for traveling to client locations in a company-provided vehicle.
• Customer Service Skills - Proven ability to create positive client experiences and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
