Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to engage with customers, providing them with an exceptional shopping experience. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, managing transactions, and maintaining the overall presentation of the store.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their needs.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain stock levels by organizing merchandise on the sales floor and restocking items as necessary.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and improve sales performance.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized store environment, ensuring that displays are visually appealing.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and promote a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong cash handling skills and familiarity with cash registers.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers in English; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in grocery store settings is a plus but not required.
• A proactive approach to upselling products and enhancing the customer experience.
