Dual-faceted position. Trailer Sales of New York is seeking a State-Licensed Vehicle/Trailer Inspector & Sales Support Specialist to join our team in North Collins, NY. The ideal candidate will have a New York State Vehicle/Trailer Inspector License or be willing to obtain one with company support. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting state inspections , unstacking trailers, operating a forklift to move trailers around the yard, and assisting with sales and paperwork. Overview

: The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks, including but not limited to:

• Performing inspections in compliance with New York law
• Unstacking loads of trailers
• Operating a forklift to move trailers around the yard
• Mounting tires
• Completing paperwork and processing payments
• Assisting with sales-related activities and providing support to the sales team You will receive on-the-job training related to trailer knowledge, so prior experience is not required but is a plus.

Qualifications

:

• New York State Vehicle/Trailer Inspector License preferred (company willing to support the right candidate in obtaining certification)
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to various tasks
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
• Valid driver's license Work Schedule:
