: Nearly New Appliances is a local, startup retail business in San Antonio specializing in open-box appliances. We're building something different - offering quality appliances at affordable prices with a focus on customer service and community trust. Position: Part-Time Store Associate (3 days/week to start, potential for more based on performance) Who We 're Looking For: We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual who's ready to grow with a fast-moving startup. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, wants hands-on experience in retail and operations, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. No prior experience required but encouraged and factored into compensation.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Assist customers on the sales floor and at checkout
• Maintain and update inventory on the store website
• Manage the front desk, answer phone calls, and provide excellent in-store customer service
• Keep the store organized and clean
• Learn about different appliance types and models to better assist customers
• Opportunity to take on more responsibilities (marketing, logistics, operations) based on interest and skills
• If interested and able to, assist with deliveries and appliance installations

Requirements

:

• Strong communication and people skills
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask
• Basic knowledge or interest in household appliances is a plus
• Comfortable with technology (updating website inventory, simple computer tasks)
• A team-player mindset, with an openness to learning and mentorship

Compensation

:

• Base hourly wage + commission (discussed during the interview)
