Retail Sales/Operations Manager Baer's Furniture, Florida?s premier furniture and mattress retailer, is searching for a Retail Operations Manager to join our team. As a Retail Operations Manager at Baer?s, you will contribute to the growth, development and success of the Baer?s showroom. In this leadership role, and as a representative of Baer?s Furniture, the Retail Operations Manager will lead in a manner consistent with the goals and character of the company. The Retail Operations Manager will manage backend operations as well as have a presence on the sales floor in order to engage with customers and assist with sales as needed. The Retail Operations Manager will at times serve as the Manager on Duty and must have a solid understanding of all policies and procedures in order to take on overall management of the location.

Responsibilities

include but are not limited to:

• Coach and develop a team that will perform their duties in keeping with the goals and character of Baer?s;
• Consistently exceed customer satisfaction;
• Build strong partnerships with Baer?s corporate and warehouse teams to ensure operational consistency;
• Ensure all store operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way;
• Help the store's processes remain legally compliant;
• Formulate strategic and operational objectives;
• Recruit, train and supervise staff;
• Find ways to increase quality of customer service.

Qualifications

a successful candidate will possess:

• Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role;
• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management;
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Solid history of leadership abilities;
• Outstanding organizational skills;
