Ranked in the Top 25 General Contractors that are minority, CMC is responsible for over $50 million in construction in a variety of projects including commercial, civil, and development in Texas. The Business Development Specialist is responsible for developing new business relationships and securing contracts in the San Antonio region.

Responsibilities

include:

• Responsible for overall Business Development and Sales process which includes client and project pursuits, RFPs, proposals, key wins and losses, industry activities and other general BD/marketing/Sales responsibilities.
• Develop and maintain industry relationships to support opportunity growth
• Review public RFPs, identify opportunities, and track them in a CRM system
• Identify leads and opportunities and track them in a CRM system
• Write technical proposals that meet the requirements of RFPs
• Conduct industry presentations and facilitate online events (webinars, industry workshops)

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of business development experience in engineering, construction, or construction technology
• Experience writing technical proposals
• Experience working with RFP systems
• Experience working with senior leadership and executive teams
• Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
• Experience in social marketing and ad campaign development and management
