Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving sales and maintaining store operations.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and conduct engaging product demos to enhance customer understanding.
• Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring efficient cash handling.
• Maintain stock levels by organizing merchandise on the sales floor and backroom as needed.
• Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and conducting regular stock checks.
• Communicate effectively with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Uphold store standards by keeping the sales area clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and provide feedback on customer preferences. Skills
• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating totals.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
• Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
• A proactive approach to selling products while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills to manage stock efficiently and maintain store appearance.
