Tower Tech - a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of cooling towers - is adding to its team. We are looking for an Applications Engineer to:

• Assist Tower Tech's regional sales managers and independent sales representatives with their sale of Tower Tech cooling towers by attending and participating in sales meetings with customers , endeavoring to leave each with a positive impression of Tower Tech technology and products.
• Ensure Tower Tech technology is applied properly by coordinating with customers to ensure each installation site is prepared properly and ready in all respects to receive the new cooling tower.
• Ensure all tower piping, electrical and controls connections have been sized and installed correctly prior to tower start-up by directing and/or participating in planning, designing, or reviewing plans for site and equipment specification requirements regarding stress analysis, wind loading or seismic zoning.
• Support Tower Tech plant manager, customer service manager and sales manager, and their staffs, in engineering related matters.
• Start up new towers in accordance with Tower Tech start-up and customer training procedures established by Tower Tech's Commissioning Manager.
• Participate in the Tower Tech Design Team.
• Support Tower Tech purchasing manager in supply chain management matters.
• Ensure Tower Tech cooling towers are continuously certified as to thermal performance by Cooling Technology Institute (CTI).
• Support and Maintain certifications with Factory Mutual (FM) and Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD)
• Ensure Tower Tech cooling towers adhere to industry-best practices in engineering certifications such that no lack of any engineering certification impedes Tower Tech's ability to sell its towers.
• Provide support and input on Tower Tech software platforms.
• Participate Tower Tech's New Initiatives Group.
