About Us

Lady Black Tie is a Massachusetts-based formalwear company with our office, warehouse, and showroom all located in Hudson, MA. Since opening in November 2018, our mission has been to bring fashion-forward, unique dress designs to New England. In August 2021, we expanded into a 12,000 sq ft space to support our continued growth--and we're still growing! We're looking for a friendly, outgoing Stylist to join our boutique team. • Warmly greet customers and communicate clearly with team members
• Assist multiple customers at once while delivering exceptional service
• Proactively address customer questions or concerns, escalating to a manager when needed
• Build relationships by asking thoughtful questions and understanding each customer's style and needs
• Use an iPad and POS system to ring up purchases, check inventory, and access order information
• Help customers select gowns, assist with zippering or lace-up backs, and pull alternate sizes or styles
• Maintain store standards, ensuring the boutique is clean, organized, and visually appealing
• Report damaged or defective dresses to management
• Follow our dress code and maintain a polished, professional appearance
• Learn and follow procedures for special-order dresses
• Perform additional tasks assigned by store management Physical

Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally
• Ability to see near and far, use peripheral vision, and read from screens or devices for long periods

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior retail experience--preferably in apparel, formalwear, or a specialty boutique
• Experience using a computerized point-of-sale (POS) system
• Strong communication skills, a team-player mindset, and a genuine desire to help customers look and feel their best If you love fashion, people, and making special moments even more memorable, we'd love to hear from you! Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
