Overview

HireQuest Direct is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to grow and manage client relationships in the San Antonio market. This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong sales instincts who enjoys networking, local travel, and closing deals in fast-paced industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and secure new client accounts within construction, manufacturing, industrial, and warehouse sectors
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders
• Conduct in-person client visits and local market outreach
• Collaborate with recruiting and operations teams to ensure client staffing needs are met
• Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and close new business
• Track sales activity and performance using CRM tools
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals

Qualifications

• 2+ years of business development, sales, or staffing industry experience preferred
• Experience selling staffing solutions is a strong plus
• Knowledge of construction, manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environments preferred
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally
