Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating product knowledge, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. This role involves engaging with customers, assisting with product selections, and supporting store operations to ensure smooth daily functions. Bilingual skills are a plus, and previous retail or grocery store experience is preferred. The Sales Associate will play a key role in driving sales through effective upselling and merchandising strategies while maintaining a welcoming environment for all shoppers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
• Operate POS systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits
• Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain attractive merchandise displays and ensure proper merchandising standards
• Stock shelves, organize products, and manage inventory levels through stocking activities
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries
• Assist in maintaining store cleanliness and organization throughout the shift
• Supervise or assist in supervising team members when needed, ensuring smooth store operations Experience
• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math calculations
• Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies is advantageous
• Supervising experience is a plus but not required
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
