Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. As a Sales Associate, you will engage with customers, demonstrate products, and assist in maintaining the store's visual standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in locating products.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
• Utilize retail math to assist customers with pricing inquiries and transactions.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stock areas.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and store objectives.
• Stay informed about product knowledge to effectively assist customers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette for customer interactions.
• Ability to perform basic retail math calculations accurately.
• Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to better serve our diverse customer base.
• Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus but not required.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
