Full description of the position

We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support and grow existing customer accounts within the metals industry. This role is focused on relationship management, order processing, and providing high-level customer support. Candidates with metals industry knowledge may qualify for the higher end of the base salary. High performers have the opportunity to advance into Business Development roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with placing orders and obtaining pricing
• Respond to inquiries regarding order status, delivery timelines, and material availability
• Handle inbound phone, fax, and online chat requests (managing multiple chats at once)
• Enter and process orders using an internal system
• Resolve customer questions, concerns, and complaints through effective problem-solving
• Coordinate returns and exchanges as needed

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of inside sales experience
• 1-2+ years of experience in the metals industry preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
• Strong communication skills and professional phone presence
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks

Compensation

: Base salary $50,000-$55,000 (DOE) + overtime + quarterly bonus Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Training schedule: 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. for the first 1-2 months
