Position Outside Sales Associate ( 45k-60k + commission and car company provided) Summary A Japanese food trading company is seeking an Outside Sales Associate

Essential Duties

• Meets the monthly and annual sales target as designated by the manager.
• Visits customers and potential customers to provide support, information, and sell Company's products
• Cooperate with the accounting department to ensure the collection of payments in a timely manner.
• Maintains high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and building rapport; resolves issues in a timely manner and escalates to the management as needed.
• Collaborates with purchasing departments, warehouse, and other involved parties to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly.
• Coordinates urgent deliveries with the customers to accommodate their needs.
• Travels to other locations to meet with clients as needed
• Educates customers on how the products or services can benefit them.
• Inputs and updates orders within the Company database in a timely manner.
• Maintains and safely navigates the Company vehicle as per the Company Vehicle Policy.
• participate in the weekly sales meetings.
• Attends semiannual inventory count on designated day, possibly on a weekend.
• Attends Company events and functions outside of normal working hours.
• Performs other duties as assigned. Working Hours, Working style M-F: 9:00-18:00 Working Location HOUSTON, TX Salary, Benefit $45K-$60K + Commission ( Employees make an average of 10k-30k in commissions) 401k Matching

Qualifications

• Able to drive for the majority of the daily working hours.
• Able to travel within or outside of Illinois as needed.
• Able to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
• Able to use the phone for extended periods of time.
• Business level English and Japanese or Chinese
• bilingual
• is required.
• Maintains a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Maintains a positive attitude.
• Able to work independently and as a team.
• Able to adapt to frequent changes in assignments and workload.
• High school diploma required; AA and above strongly preferred.
• Experience in food industry, preferably in Japanese food industry is plus
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Possesses basic mathematical knowledge such as markups, discounts, counting inventory, weight and measurement conversions, combining, etc.
• Has strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, especially Microsoft NAV, highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Japanese foods and liquors strongly preferred. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
