Job Summary

We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Licensed Insurance Sales Representative to join our growing independent insurance agency. In this role, you will help clients identify their insurance needs and assist with the placement of policies across multiple carriers , delivering tailored solutions and exceptional service. This position is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a relationship-based sales environment and is looking for long-term career growth through commissions and renewal income. We will assist the right candidate in obtaining their insurance license, but it will be required to start

Qualifications

• Active state Property & Casualty insurance license will be required to start
• Prior experience in insurance sales, outside sales, retail sales, or customer service preferred
• Strong consultative sales and negotiation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple carriers, products, and client accounts
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective clients through agency-provided leads, referrals, and community outreach to generate new business
• Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify appropriate coverage options
• Present, explain, and assist with the placement of insurance policies through multiple insurance carriers
• Quote, bind, and process insurance applications accurately and efficiently
• Negotiate coverage options and premiums in alignment with carrier guidelines and agency goals
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with insurance regulations
• Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions and supporting clients throughout the sales process
• Follow up with prospects and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional coverage or policy enhancements
• Collaborate with team members to support marketing and growth initiatives Job Type: Full-time Pay: $58,800.00 - $120,000.00 per year
