Responsibilities

• Learn product knowledge to enhance customer sales experiences
• Educate customers about new and existing products and services
• Recommend complementary products to help customers get the most from their purchases
• Provide a warm, positive buying experience for every customer
• Maintain a visually appealing and organized sales floor daily
• Greet and engage with all customers entering the store
• Assist customers with carrying machines in or out when needed
• Ensure all sales capture accurate customer information, including name, address, phone, and email
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management Fabric Shop Customer Care Associate This specialized position focuses on fabric and notions sales and supporting our customers with creative projects.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Greet and assist customers in the fabric area with a welcoming, helpful attitude
• Provide guidance on fabric types, measurements, and project needs
• Cut fabric accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct yardage and quality
• Restock and maintain a clean, organized fabric and notions section
• Learn about new fabric collections and sewing trends to better serve customers
• Assist with special orders and communicate effectively with the sales team

Requirements

:

• Sewing Knowledge: Must understand basic sewing terms, fabric types, and yardage needs
• Fabric Cutting: Ability to measure and cut fabric with precision
• Availability: Must be able to work every Saturday (required) with additional weekday shifts
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service Preferred Experience (All Roles)
• Customer Service: 2+ years
• Sewing/Quilting/Crafting: 1-5 years
• Retail Sales: 1+ year
• Friendly personality, enthusiasm for creativity, and strong communication skills Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
