The Old Store at Grassy Creek Sales Associate Position Description Located in historic Grassy Creek on the NC/VA state line, the Old Store features local goods, crafts, gifts, a Christmas tree education center, and a large deck to sit a spell and enjoy the landscape. It is a new venture that just opened this spring. We are looking for a sales associate to welcome customers, guide them through the store, help them purchase products, and ensure they have a pleasant experience. The sales associate should have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated customer service experience.

Responsibilities

:

• Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain in-store displays, take inventory, and restock shelves.
• Ensure store cleanliness.
• Work with other staff to receive and unpack shipments.
• Assist with special events.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a retail environment preferred.
• Customer service-oriented.
• Familiarity with point of sale systems and other relevant technology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
