Dedicated Sales Associate needed for family-run retail hardware store located on Upper East Side. Looking for energetic and enthusiastic candidate with knowledge and experience in retail hardware who can grow with our team. Proven sales record a plus and customer service abilities are highly valued. The more hardware experience the better! Hours: M-F 8am - 6:30pm

Responsibilities

include: Merchandising and Maintenance: Keeping the floor stocked at all times and make sure what is on the floor is displayed properly. A wide-ranging understanding of hardware products is vital. Sales and Customer Service: Handle yourself professionally at all times and treat every customer request seriously, no matter how small. Candidate should be comfortable speaking with customers on the phone to process orders as needed. Physical

Requirements

: Tasks include carrying boxes, building materials, and other store related items. Must be able to stay on your feet for 10 hours daily and lift ~80 pounds. Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
