Full description of the position

Position Title: Inside & Outside Sales Specialist Brief Summary: Based out of the MainStage Houston office providing excellent customer service through the quotation of MainStage products to walk-in, phone, web, and project related customers. Daily duties include responding to phone inquiries, review bid documents including written specifications and drawings, traveling to customers' locations for site visits and meetings.

Duties

:

• Offsite sales calls and customer meetings.
• Review of electronic and hard copy specifications and plans as required for public and private bid and design build process.
• Preparation of estimation spreadsheets, bill of materials and PDF Quotations.
• Maintain profitability on quoted and bid projects by correctly estimating material and labor necessary.
• Interface with Project Team to ensure seamless transfer of a project from quotation to project status.
• File maintenance of spreadsheets and quotation documentation as directed by management.
• Respond to web and email requests to develop quotations.
• Answer incoming phone calls, assist walk-in customer and work with email and web inquiries.
• Work as a team with office staff to share product knowledge.
• Buy Board contract maintenance and upkeep
• Other duties as assigned. Skills:
• Knowledge of theatrical equipment, practices and procedures are desired.
• Basic math skills including but not limited to addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.
• Advanced computer skills including Outlook, Excel, Word & Bluebeam PDF Software.
• Knowledge and ability to read and interpret theatrical, electrical and architectural plans.
• Ability to work with or without supervision and make sound decisions based on guidelines established by management.
• High degree of professionalism when dealing with customers and co-workers. Condition(s) of Employment:
• Clean driving record for coverage under company auto insurance.
• Pass required security clearances.
• Pre-employment background screening and drug testing.
• Employees will not engage in competing business during this time, including directly or indirectly working for or selling for industry competition. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $90,000.00 per year
