Job Title: Front Counter Sales Associate Location: Tyler Industrial Supply, Ketchikan, AK Position

Overview

: Tyler Industrial Supply. is seeking an energetic, reliable and customer- focused Counter Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll work directly with customers--both walk-in and account-based--to assess their needs and provide the products and solutions that support their operations. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a passion for helping customers, and experience with industrial tools or materials.

Key Responsibilities

: Sales and Customer Service:

• Assist customers in selecting the right tools, supplies, and metal products for their projects or operations.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations and technical support on product specifications and applications.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and help grow new accounts
• Prepare quotes, process orders, and follow up on inquiries
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with purchasing to ensure product availability.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, new products, and vendor offerings.
• Support merchandising, product displays, and general store operations as needed. Key

Qualifications

:

• Clean & valid driver's license
• A self-motivated, team-oriented attitude
• Strong understanding of tools, equipment, and/or metal materials
• Computer/software savvy
• Strong communication skills
• Lifting (up to 60lbs.)
