Scientific Instruments - Technical Sales Representative Proto is a leading manufacturer of scientific x-ray instruments including powder XRD, crystallography, residual stress measurement, and Laue single- crystal orientation systems. X-ray diffraction is a multidisciplinary area that draws on materials science, engineering, physics, chemistry and mathematics. We are looking for a sale person with a strong scientific or engineering background to join our sales team.

Duties

will include sales, market development, training of customers, assist with installation of instrumentation, and support of both existing and new customers. Successful applicant will also be responsible for representing Proto at trade shows and key conferences related to x-ray diffraction. Travel within the United States and overseas is expected up to 20% of the time. Competitive salary and health care package offered.

Minimum Qualifications

University or College degree in materials science, engineering, chemistry, physics, or a related field is required. Experience with x-ray diffraction instrumentation is an asset. Excellent communication skills in English, self- motivated individuals that have a passion for science and learning are preferred. Job Type: Full-time
