Join Our Team at Matt Blatt Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram as a Service BDC Representative! Are you a motivated and customer-focused individual with strong communication skills? Matt Blatt Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking a Service BDC Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing service appointment scheduling, handling customer inquiries, and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Call Handling: Answer incoming telephone calls, transferring to the appropriate department/party and taking messages when necessary. Handle inbound and outbound calls to schedule service appointments for customers. Ensure appointments are booked efficiently and in accordance with service department availability.
• Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering information about services, promotions, and dealership offerings. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly with customers, vendors, and fellow employees.
• Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up calls to confirm appointments, remind customers of upcoming services, and gather feedback on their service experience.
• Data Management: Enter and update customer information and service records accurately in the dealership's database. Maintain detailed and organized records of customer interactions and appointment schedules. Perform essential clerical functions within the dealership, such as filing paperwork, documenting payments, and following up with customers regarding paperwork and license plates.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the service department to communicate customer needs and ensure seamless coordination between the BDC and service staff.
• Sales Support: Promote and upsell additional services or products as appropriate, including maintenance packages, extended warranties, and special offers.
• Collect payments from customers using various methods, including cash, checks, and credit cards.

Qualifications

and Skills:

• Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or call center environment is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing a positive customer experience.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey information clearly and professionally over the phone and via email.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems and appointment scheduling software is a plus. Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments to achieve common goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Positive Attitude: Friendly and approachable demeanor with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer interaction.
