Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving sales and fostering strong relationships with our clients. This position requires a deep understanding of transportation management and supply chain processes, as well as the ability to effectively negotiate contracts and manage customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Identify new sales opportunities within the transportation sector, focusing on both existing and potential customers.
• Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) tools for effective data entry and tracking of sales activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored solutions that meet client needs.
• Negotiate contracts with carriers and clients to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Provide insights on market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
• Manage the sales process from lead generation through to closing, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete. Skills
• Strong background in transportation management and supply chain management.
• Proficient in customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.
• Proven experience in sales, particularly within the transportation or logistics industry.
• Familiarity with electronic data interchange (EDI) systems is a plus.
• Ability to effectively negotiate contracts and terms with clients and carriers.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
