Overview

Detroit Truck Body Parts (DTBP) is hiring a Front Desk and Outside Sales Representative with hands-on knowledge of semi-trucks and heavy-duty truck parts. This role focuses on in-person sales, customer visits, and territory growth as well as cashing out walk in customers and leading the front desk. Truck parts knowledge is REQUIRED. This is not an entry-level role.

Responsibilities

• Visit repair shops, fleets, dealerships, and owner-operators within assigned territory
• Build and maintain strong in-person relationships with customers
• Sell heavy-duty truck parts
• Identify customer needs and recommend correct parts solutions
• Generate new business and grow existing accounts
• Follow up on quotes, orders, and deliveries
• Communicate customer needs with inside sales and warehouse teams
• Represent DTBP professionally in the field . Run the front desk and take care of walk in customers

Required Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of semi-trucks and truck parts (MANDATORY)
• Experience with brands such as Freightliner, Volvo, Mack, Peterbilt, Kenworth, International
• Understanding of suspension, steering, braking, air systems, filters, hoses, sensors, etc.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred (Nice to Have)
• Experience working with fleets or repair shops
• Knowledge of VIN lookups and parts cross-referencing
• Bilingual (English/Arabic)
• Previous outside sales or field sales experience (truck parts or automotive preferred) What DTBP Offers
