Overview

As an Energy Specialist , you'll be on the front lines of our growth -- educating homeowners about solar energy, conducting in-home consultations, and closing deals that save families money. This is a full-time, commission-based role with significant earning potential, generous benefits, and opportunities for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent SunSavers Energy in your assigned territory across Maryland and Washington, DC.
• Conduct consultations with homeowners to explain solar benefits and demonstrate our no-cost solar lease program.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and referrals.
• Actively prospect and follow up with potential leads using company-provided tools and your own outreach.
• Deliver exceptional service and uphold our mission of energy equity and sustainability.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of sales experience preferred (in-home sales a plus)
• Strong closing skills and a self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to obtain a Home Improvement Salesperson (HIC) certification (we'll help you prepare)
• Strong phone and follow-up etiquette
• Comfortable working flexible hours, including some weekends
