• Coordinate and fulfill special banquet and event arrangements
• Communicate effectively with guests, staff, management, and other departments to ensure all guest needs are met
• Provide outstanding customer service for every guest, every time, including timely responses to guest inquiries and calls
• Address guest comments and concerns promptly to ensure resolution
• Ensure staff grooming and attire meet company standards; correct deficiencies as needed
• Plan events with new and existing clients via phone and in-person meetings to meet sales expectations
• Prepare, send, and manage event contracts
• Prepare guest charges accurately, review invoices, and collect payment when necessary
• Order supplies and linens for events
• Attend weekly management meetings
• Ensure all banquet equipment and facilities are prepared, clean, stocked, and in proper working condition based on anticipated business
• Supervise set-up and breakdown of function rooms; ensure readiness for the next event
• Inspect table set-ups for cleanliness, organization, and compliance with group requirements and company standards
• Maintain calm, positive verbal communication to ensure smooth event execution, quality service, and adherence to health regulations and corporate standards Skills You 'll Bring
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with guests and staff at all levels
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with sound and projection systems is a plus
• Experience organizing and planning special or fundraising events
• Prior managerial or supervisory experience preferred
• Prior Point-of-Sale (POS) system experience preferred Job Details
